Kundalini Yoga Practice & Gong Meditation @ Kardiya Yoga
Saturdays, 9 - 10:15am, January 18 - February 8 (single class or join the full series)
Kundalini Yoga is the yoga of awareness, designed to help people lead full and healthy lives. We will use posture, rhythm, breathing techniques, mantra, and meditation to deepen internal awareness, build energy and strength, release tension, improve flexibility, and calm the mind. Our kriya practice will sealed with a 10-15 minute gong bath. Appropriate for ALL levels. Space is limited, so registration is recommended. Sliding scale option.
Lunchtime Yoga for UF & UF Health Employees
Tuesdays, 12:15 - 1pm, Ustler Hall
This gentle, all-levels yoga class is a perfect way to spend your lunch hour! Leave feeling energized and ready to face rest of your day all the while developing flexibility, strength, balance and clearing the mind. Open to all levels of experience. Free and open to UF & UF Health Shands employees only.
Yoga Nidra Series through Santa Fe College's Community Education Program
Wednesdays, 8 - 9 pm, online via Zoom
Registration for the full series (5 weeks) is required. The next series begins April 2.
Each class will consist of a half hour of movement and half hour of yoga nidra, a guided meditation technique usually done lying down. This practice allows the body to deeply restore and effortlessly takes you to a deep state of relaxation where you can disconnect from the thinking mind and change your relationship to stress, pain and unhealthy habits. If you have been looking for a way to begin meditating or a method to help you truly relax and heal, this class is for you. Open to all levels of experience.
